The Nez Perce gather at the Encampment Pavilion north of the CJD Rodeo Arena to share their culture and traditions with locals and visitors alike starting at Noon with the Friendship Feast followed by Traditional Indian Dance Contests.

The CJD Junior Parade is always a big crowd pleaser on Friday morning, July 26, 2024, when over a hundred youngsters – from infants to teens – dressed up in all kinds of costumes to entertain Chief Joseph Days’ crowds.

During the Rodeo, there will be raffles and TETWP merchandise for sale. We will also be asking for donations for the TETWP program. The proceeds from this program will be donated to Wallowa Memorial Hospital to help provide free mammograms to the women of Wallowa County.

After the rodeo the 21+ crowd can enjoy a LIVE show from Brady Goss in the Thunder Room! Then catch a free ride home from our Safe & Sober Bus!

Contestants are invited to join the Grand Entry during the PRCA performance on the stagecoach. Entries begin on Wednesday, July 24th at 9:30 am at the Harley Tucker Memorial Arena

The trail ride is free to join and is open to all ages. This is a great opportunity to explore scenic trails and get to know fellow horse people.

Enjoy a delicious dinner after the trail ride, place your bids on live and silent auction items, and get a chance to win some cash in the team Calcutta. The dinner is open to the public for just $17/adult, $7/children 5-10, and 4 & under eat for free! All trail ride participants will receive $5 off of their dinner ticket.

Want more fun for the whole family? Join us on Saturday at 2 pm at the Harley Tucker Memorial Arena for the Ranch Rodeo to watch local working cowboys and cowgirls show off their talents used daily on working cattle ranches. We will have concessions and cold beer for you to enjoy! 🍻
